The Truth #4 from Lies Women Believe is that God is enough. Through Christ, I have everything I need for my peace and happiness. He is all that I need.
Psalm 23 says (and try not to think of a funeral when you read Psalm 23; it's really not about death) "The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not be in want." Psalm 73: 25 says "Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you."
God is really all I need. I often think I need security and comfort from things of this world--my husband, children, health, friends, money, house, etc. But God is my shepherd. He knows what I need before I even ask and He will take care of me. I pray that I would believe that He is enough and not place my trust and hope in the things of this world.
